Requirements for Kalina's Night Realm Treasure
Check that the journal names Night Realm's Hidden Treasure before starting. A clue about a hammer belongs to Kalina Day and its Blacksmith room; this Night route uses the healing Onsen immediately before the boss. Once Kalina's Night Realm is available, enter it at least once, return to Tresna, and accept Eris's matching treasure task. The Night reward may not be available while that task is inactive, even if you reach the correct healing room.
Unlock the Onsen Room Arcanism

A Steam discussion independently confirms the crucial landmark: this is the room immediately before the boss fight, so identify it by function rather than by counting nodes from the start.
Stop Before Taking the Main Stairs
The obvious route continues from the Onsen toward the boss. Do not take it until you have searched the healing room. The treasure entrance is a side passage inside the spa itself, not a reward behind the final boss and not a separate treasure icon on Tomo's Radar.
Use the Pool Before the Secret Fight
The hidden portal leads to combat, so recover at the Onsen pool before leaving the room if Will has lost health. No current source identifies a required weapon or perk for the encounter; use a loadout that can survive several waves and a named miniboss.

Check for a Final Miniboss
A screenshot walkthrough shows Cyclone, the Valley Gale at the end of Kalina Night's treasure battle. Be ready for that encounter after the early slime waves. Clear any miniboss and remaining enemies before approaching the reward; the objective is the complete combat sequence, even if the enemy lineup differs in your game version.
Check for a Surviving Enemy
If the reward remains locked after an apparent clear, scan the arena edges for a remaining slime before treating the portal as bugged. The completion condition described by current guides is the full enemy sequence, including the miniboss, followed by interaction with the final reward.

Claim the Blo-Buddy Recipe
Interact with the reward after the fight to collect the Blo-Buddy recipe. Blo-Buddy is a floating ranged Gadget that follows Will and fires when the player uses the shoot input, allowing it to attack while Will performs other actions. The official Blob-Life update introduced the item and spells its name Blo-Buddy. The scroll or recipe unlock is the treasure reward; it does not automatically provide a fully upgraded Gadget in the active loadout.
Bio-Buddy and Blu-Buddy Are Misspellings

Players have reported a tracking issue affecting both Kalina hidden treasure tasks. The Night objective can remain visible after the correct recipe is collected, and repeated runs or crafting the reward do not consistently clear it. If Blo-Buddy is present in the crafting menu, the important unlock registered; a stale journal line does not mean that the Blacksmith route, final boss, or another secret room must be completed instead.
Preserve the Save and Apply Current Patches
Fully close the game after saving, install the newest patch available for the platform, reload, and check the recipe and task again. Replaying the slime arena or crafting Blo-Buddy is not a confirmed universal fix. Do not delete or manually edit a working save solely to remove the unchecked entry.
Give Support a Reproducible Report
