Requirements for the Moonlighter 2 Zephyr Hidden Treasure

The Zephyr Fields treasure portal is tied to a quest from Eris in Tresna. Visit Zephyr Fields at least once, return to town, and speak to Eris when she has a quest marker. Accept the matching task before beginning the treasure run. Following the concealed path is not enough when the task is inactive, because current walkthroughs consistently treat Eris's quest as the condition that makes the hidden-treasure portal available.

Visit Zephyr Fields, Then Speak to Eris

Current guides identify the region-specific task as Zephyr Fields' Hidden Treasure. Older Early Access walkthroughs call the original objective A Hidden Treasure in Aeolia, because Zephyr Fields was the published Aeolia route at that time. Both names lead to the same fixed entrance at the beginning of Zephyr Fields and the same Blo-Blaster scroll. The older wording does not create a seventh treasure or a second Aeolia maze.

Check the Realm Name Before Starting

Open the task list and confirm that the active objective refers to Zephyr Fields or the older general Aeolia hunt. Zephyr Fields and Howling Harbor are separate regions with different entrances, challenges, and recipe rewards. If the journal names Howling Harbor, do not use this starting-node route. If no Aeolia treasure task appears, complete a Zephyr Fields visit and return to Eris before spending another run searching the map.

Find the Hidden Path at the Zephyr Fields Start

Begin a Zephyr Fields run and remain in the first node. The normal route encourages you to continue toward the usual exit, but the Moonlighter 2 Zephyr Fields hidden treasure begins off to the left and behind the arrival platform. It is a fixed part of the opening area rather than a random utility, boss, or question-mark room. There is no reason to clear later nodes before looking for it.

Turn Left and Circle Behind the First Platform

From the place where Will appears, move toward the left side of the platform and continue around its rear edge. The camera and foreground scenery can make this space look decorative, so keep close to the boundary and inspect the route behind the platform. If you have already reached the ordinary departure zipline, you followed the main path too far; return to the arrival platform if the room still allows it.

Ride the Upward Zipline to the Green Portal

Look for the zipline that rises away from the opening route. Ride it to the elevated hidden path, follow the connection, and enter the green portal. The portal leads to a self-contained navigation challenge made of small floating islands and branching ziplines. The Zephyr challenge does not require a random NPC event or an enemy wave. Its difficulty is choosing the correct branches and recognizing one deliberate change in platform height.

Solve the Zephyr Fields Hidden Treasure Zipline Maze

Inside the portal, follow the first connections until you reach the island where the route branches in several directions. Treat Up, Down, Left, and Right as fixed choices shown by the maze rather than turns relative to Will's current facing. The published sequence remains usable as the character and camera orientation change. Start counting only from the maze's main branching island; counting an approach zipline as the first instruction sends the remainder out of alignment.

  1. Take Down from the maze's starting island.

  2. Take Right, then choose Right a second time.

  3. Take Up, then Left, then Up again.

  4. Take Left. This zipline intentionally carries Will down to a lower platform.

  5. From the lower platform, take Down and then Left to reach the scroll.

Why the Seventh Move Looks Wrong

The full sequence is Down, Right, Right, Up, Left, Up, Left, Down, Left. On the seventh choice, Left, the zipline descends to a lower platform. That height change is expected and is the most likely place to assume the route failed. Do not backtrack when it happens. Continue with Down and Left from the lower level to reach the final treasure area.

Interact With the Scroll Before Leaving

Approach the floating scroll on its pedestal and use the interact prompt. Reaching the final island or standing beside the podium does not itself claim the recipe. Wait for the collection to register, then check that the hidden-treasure objective updates. The successful interaction unlocks the recipe; it does not place a finished gun directly into Will's equipped loadout.

Zephyr Fields Hidden Treasure Reward: Blo-Blaster

The verified reward for the Moonlighter 2 Zephyr hidden treasure is the Blo-Blaster gun recipe. The dedicated Aeolia walkthrough, the original documented Steam route, and newer all-location guides consistently connect Blo-Blaster to the opening Zephyr Fields zipline maze. Nimbus Regalia belongs to the later Howling Harbor treasure. Boss masks, ordinary Aeolia relics, and materials collected during the run are separate rewards and do not complete this Eris quest.

Use the Current Crafting Panel for the Cost

Published guides disagree about the current crafting NPC and whether a required Aeolia material is called Oneiric Quartz or Oneiric Stone. That conflict may reflect a game update or a terminology error, so this route does not present either bill as confirmed crafting requirements. Claim the Blo-Blaster scroll, return to Tresna, and read the unlocked recipe's live crafting panel for the authoritative gold and material requirements on your build.

Why the Zephyr Hidden Treasure Portal Is Missing

A missing green portal usually means the matching Eris task was never accepted. Return to Tresna, speak to Eris, and confirm that the Zephyr Fields or older Aeolia treasure objective appears in the journal. Then start a new Zephyr Fields run and inspect the fixed opening node again. Repeating later combat rooms, selecting more question marks, or defeating the regional boss does not substitute for activating the treasure quest.

You Cannot Find the Concealed Zipline

Search only the first node. Hug the left edge of the arrival platform, walk around its back, and look for the line that travels upward. Do not apply Howling Harbor advice here: Zephyr Fields does not require Anacard's event. If the visible route keeps carrying you forward toward the ordinary exit, reset your position at the arrival platform and inspect the opposite side before leaving.

The Direction Sequence Reaches the Wrong Island

Restart from the main branching island, not the portal entrance, and use fixed directions. Confirm that you selected Right twice near the beginning and Up twice before the seventh move. The second Left in the sequence should descend to a lower platform. From there, the last choices are Down and Left. If no descent occurred, return to the branching point and recount rather than improvising a new route.

Zephyr Fields and the Older Aeolia Treasure Name

The in-game place name is Zephyr Fields. You may also see Zephyr, the singular Zephyr Field, or the misspelling Zephr's Field's in walkthroughs and discussions. They refer to this same starting-node treasure. An older journal or Early Access guide may call the task A Hidden Treasure in Aeolia. Confirm the entrance landmark before following those older instructions: the concealed zipline behind the arrival platform leads to the Blo-Blaster route described here.

Do Not Confuse Zephyr Fields With Howling Harbor

Both destinations belong to Aeolia and use ziplines, but their treasure triggers are different. Zephyr Fields uses the fixed starting platform and rewards Blo-Blaster. Howling Harbor uses a random question-mark event containing Anacard and rewards Nimbus Regalia. Match the place name in the active journal task before following either route, especially when an older guide refers only to a hidden treasure in Aeolia.

Moonlighter 2 Hidden Treasure FAQ

Where is the Moonlighter 2 Zephyr Fields hidden treasure?

It begins in the fixed Zephyr Fields starting node. Move left from the arrival platform, circle behind it, and ride the upward zipline to the green portal. Inside, solve the branching island maze and interact with the final scroll.

Do I need Eris's quest before taking the Zephyr route?

Yes. Visit Zephyr Fields, return to Tresna, and accept Eris's matching hidden-treasure task before searching. If the portal is absent even though you found the concealed zipline, check the journal first.

What is the Zephyr Fields zipline maze sequence?

From the maze's main starting island, use Down, Right, Right, Up, Left, Up, Left, Down, Left. The seventh move descends to a lower platform; continue from there instead of treating the height change as a mistake.

What does the Zephyr hidden treasure unlock?

The final scroll unlocks the Blo-Blaster gun recipe. It does not award a finished, automatically equipped gun. Return to Tresna and use the live crafting panel to confirm the current material and gold requirements.

Is Zephr's Field's hidden treasure a separate quest?

No. Zephr is a misspelling, and the in-game location name is the plural Zephyr Fields. Both names refer to the same starting-node zipline maze and Blo-Blaster reward.

Why does an older guide call it A Hidden Treasure in Aeolia?

That was the broader name used when the original published Aeolia route was in Zephyr Fields. Later guides distinguish Zephyr Fields from Howling Harbor, but the older objective still points to this entrance and reward.
